Here in Louisanna

Wow--what an experience this is.
I am talking to people who have lost everything. Their home yes, but also their neighbors, their job, and more. Some don't know where some of thier family members are or know where they are but can't get to them.

I need to get back to the phones. But I want to say how incredibly blessed I am to have an apt here on my own to have quiet after 12 hours of madness and someone is loaning me their car for the duration of my stay here. I got to an Alanon meeting yesterday and even if they don't know how to have a meeting the 'right' way--read my way or the way I'm accustomed to --I was glad to be in a meeting. No one introduced themselves before they spoke--no name at all--I'm so darn critical--
