Monday's adventures at Walmart

So I remebered again to take my canvas bags into the store. I get done shopping hoping it is not another $100 trip. I can't seem to leave this place without paying at least that in ransom for my groceries. I ask the cashier nicely yes I was nice! if we could please use my canvas bags and I would help her fill them.

By the time we were done, I wanted to 1 Step her! First she said she would rather do it herself, didn't need my help. Then she mentioned how inconvenient this is and how it would be much faster doing it her way.

Now, there was no one in line behind me. It was a slow time to shop there which is why I went there at that time. I was in no hurry. I did not lecture her about saving the earth or how it is actually easier for me to carry my groceries up my many stairs if we use the canvas.

Oh well, I thanked her nicely after paying yippeee under $100 by 6 bucks!

I get to my car. A young man holding a child asks me if I could give him a few dollars to help him with gas for his car. I almost never have any cash on me and this was one of those times I didn't have a penny. He thanked me politely anyway and I lost sight of him in the parking lot.

I came to. Looked around. Am I in Fairmont? Or some other strange big city? Panhandling in Fairmont? Wow. And here I thought I lived in a little dirty town in WV. Oh yeah, I am. But some folk are using some cityfied ways to get a couple of bucks.

I'm staying in the rest of the day. Well except for a walk in the park later.
Oh speaking of parks, DM found another house. Its at the trail head this time. Ready set here we go again...

I didn't realize that Walmart sold groceries. Guess that I avoid the place as much as possible. I like the Whole Foods stores but don't buy everything there.
