a hump wednesday after a holiday?
Hope your holiday was nice. Mine was.
Step daughters, grandaughter Lily, Gary and Ruth for the day.
Walk on the rail trail beifre dark.
Then a magazine and till evening
early to bed.
No real excitement or chaos. No fighting or other nastiness. Not like the old days of living with a drinker and spending the holidays with his drinking family. Do I miss the excitement? Maybe a little--
Working for a couple days. Then off to the Lehigh Valley. My sponsor is already there from CO. Her Alanon birthday is the 28th and mine is the 29th. I have one day less than her. Long story of surrender for us both. I'll tell it someday. Short version is we both changed our birthdates and now each have 7 years instead.
Not sure how we will fit in everyone and everything on such a short visit. I just know we sill see a certain red headed 3 year old and her Daddy. New Years Eve will find us at an open AA dinner and meeting with my sponsees and sponsor. A get together with Leslie and family. Whew, tired already. Think I'll just stay in today.
Time to log into the Big Brother puter.

I sure could use some Al-Anon this holiday. I may go tonight or to the Saturday morning. Ugh is all I can say.

Glad to hear your holiday was good. Have a great time with your friends. We cannot pick our family but we sure can pick our friends.
Sounds like you had a good Christmas. And that you will have a good time meeting up with your sponsor and others.
