It IS Friday

I'm heading back to Fairmont this morning. No work today but it IS payday yipppeeee

I actually had a nice time here. The training wasn't tense or intense. Hung out with some real nice people.

The weather was awful a coupla days--Syd it was snow and lots of ice. I called about the Alanon meeting but it wasn't happening cause of weather. I was sorry to miss it.

Beckley is a higher elevation. I told someone I am impressed with how flat it is here, not all surrounded by hills and can see the sky---flat! Just wonderful. She laughed at me cause we are on the top of a huge mountain here--

When we were at the mall last evening, ran into a young woman I shared office space with when I worked in United Way's office. What a hoot! She was workng in the bookstore. She'd been thinking of us recently cause she'd like to get a story core in this area and have the miners tell their stories. And here I am working with miners and their families. Geez, when God works...

Happy to be going back today. Its hard to be always eating out. I'm ready for some nice hot homemade soup. Speaking of hot I need to be dressed to go for a cuppa tea.
