So how's about putting on your damn shoes, walking
out the door and living your life to the best of your ability on THIS DAY, and
just do the next right thing in front of your ass, and the whole world will be a
better place if everyone on the planet did this, and did not stop to ponder
crap and pontificate on every damn thing.

I'm headed to the shower, getting dressed, hiting the gym, having lunch, maybe a bike ride if it isn't raining, resting by reading magazines and a new book if it is raining, having dinner here with others like other Fridays and an open AA meeting singing in my heart and mind Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you. I am so grateful for the gift God gave me this day 27 years ago. It is the best I can do today.

thinking of you today...doing the deal...out in the world to the best of your ability. And it's damn fine if your ability is more than or less than someone elses. You can only be you....and that's good enough for this 24 hours.
