Friday the 29th

Emily called this morning that she is on her way to the hospital. She might have a baby today and that would make me a Step-Grandmother. I wonder what I will be called? Could I stay Gram for this baby as well? We don't know if it will be a boy or girl and I find that part exciting. I hate that this joyous event is also causing me pain. This is about Emily and her family, not about me or Lonny so I'm trying to put it down. Not avoid or deny the pain. Feel it and let it go somehow. I suppose I will live the rest of my life with triggers and with memories. I hope so.

I'm headed to Allentown later today to stay with Chuck & Leslie and family. I'll be over at Nik's bright and early to spend Sat with them. I am so looking forward to scooping up a certain 1 and 1/2 yr old and hold her close. And Nik, I miss him so.

Yesterday was another 28th. Will I ever look at the 28th in any other way?

I'm supposed to work when I am at work. Onto work...
