self kindness

-calling a halt to doing what is harmful to you
-defending yourself against anyone who attacks you--including yourself
-telling the truth
-asking for help
-resting when you need rest
-believing there's a good reason for what you are doing, even if you aren't aware of it at the moment
grateful today
-for dinner & fellowship last nite
-the comment that it looks like an Alanon meeting--we had so many at the table
-for institutions that allow us to being a meeting in
-67 degrees this morning
-time to rest
-time to putter
-I am loved, no matter how it scares me
-I am loving
-that someday I really might put down the fight--especially when there's only an illusion I have something to fight
-Burt's Bees natural products

Soounds like I need to be to doing some of that list.
That self kindness is great. I most definately need to do more of that.
