a rainy Thursday

No bike ride tonite--its ugly out there.

Had some time in Charleston(a bigger town than where I live) this week for yet another training-- but for a training I'll be giving in a few weeks. Went shopping there--but gosh I had to! The mall was just across the street! and paying more attention to color. I think I have the style part down. Classic and traditional works best from me no matter if the old hippie chick in me is attracted to the new but old hippie styles. Now I've discovered I am a warm/soft autumn and altho I am attracted to a spring pallette---I have to look for browns, rusts, earth tones. DM convinced me a couple years ago to put down the flowers. Everything I picked out had flowers--the shower curtain, bedspreads, most every piece of clothing.

So I was talking to the girls who work on this floor and one says now go for the fit. Damn I want comfort--flowing big clothes that are not only soft but roomy. But no, she says I will look longer and leaner in clothes that fit. Ok ok, I'll try that next.

This being conscious is damn hard work. But I do admit to liking to look in the mirror and feeling good about how I look instead of the ugh sighing I often do.

I do have to admit that I have gone back to my short not styeld hair again. What a relief. And I really want to be done with coloring but oh my goodness its not my natural growing up colr anymore. Whats happened to me??!!! Oh, age.
