Thirsty Thursday
Thirsty and hungry for smelling a little girl's neck while she hugs me and holds me oh so close and lets me kiss her face and smiles miles of smiles...
Heading to do a presentation this morning then on the road again to the greater Lehigh Valley overnite before Chick to Chick. Do what I can to be of service there. On hospitality committee, greeting and helping others find their way. Watching snacks. Some of my spiritual giants are going to be there. And some of my dear Alanon friends from WI and PA.
Its soooo warm here this morning. Great thunder and lightning storm last night. Thought it might be cooler cause of the rain but its warm and lovely. But heading north today and have been warned of colder temps and no heat in the building we are staying in. Did I mention I hate camping? KC knows.
Hope to stay out of the comparing and competition. Hope and pray. I always come out less than or better than. But I just want to be a member of the group.
So no puter till Mon or Tue. You all take good care. SC--you and Mel are always on my heart. Rexie is away too. Kayyyyccceeeee!!! One more week!!!!

AWWWWW...Christine, there are many many things that I would do with you, but, alas, camping is not one of them. You are the queen of whiners when doing something that you don't want to, but you're doing it anyway and I treasure my insane sanity too much to put it on edge knowingly. :-) BUT, if you were to say to me "I want to go camping with you", I'd do it in a heartbeat, cuz then I'd know that you are ready.
Hope you give that little girl and extra squeeze for me.

Camping is not up my alley. I hate a bad hotel room. No way I am sleeping outdoors on the ground. Eeek! Still got some of that princess in the blood.
