Well you already know not much is happening here lately. Damn three or 4 days of quiet is plenty, ok?
Sponsee coming down to finish her 12th Step this weekend. Her son is in rehab now and he told his parents this week of his D&A use. She was shattered for the afternoon but really gets it that she didn't cause it, can't contol it or cure it. Its not about her or the divorce or his Dad or his friends. Its this damn disease. So we'll keep praying he's hit his bottom and continues with recovery---he's only 15.
She's bringing a sponsee of hers. We'll have Friday nite dinner, open AA speaker meeting tonite. In morning big breakfast like Beth loves having at my house then onto the institution meeting in afternoon and then dum da ti da! We're going dancing!!! Square dancing oh I love it!
They'll have to leave Sunday morning. That's another busy day for me. We move back to the townhouse Sunday, go to church, district meeting and my home group meeting night.
Oh thank God for being busy and better.

I hate it when it happened to little kids.

I am so amazed to see your life in recovery. When I was growing up I had no idea that there was this disease called alcoholism that was very alive in my family. Even as a teen I was not aware. It is such a blessing to know that there is some relief from this and beautiful things can happen.
15, this little lad has much to grow and hopefully there can be some solution discovered.
