Friday Friday A special Friday

Today is Helena's 3rd Birthday. This is an old pic, I don't have digital pics of her. Have to see how to get some from Nik or Melanie.

I remember this day 3 years ago, waiting in classes for a cell phone call that didn't come when I expectd it and how I flunked a Psyc test holding the phone on my lap willing it to ring and tell me all was well and she was born and perfect. Nik had forgotten to take my cell phone # with him. But his Dad let him use his phone to call me and call me he did and I can still here the wonder and pride in his voice. I handed out lollypops to the class--heart lollypops.

It was planned for me to go up the next weekend so they would have time to get acquainted as a family. Oh the joy and joy and awe at holding her for the first times. And all the love. Still all the love. I love how she loves me and allows me to love her. I'll see her tomorrow. She's been looking for me and I can't wait to appear for her---

Staying with a girl I sponsor whose son needs rehab but has been refusing to go--he's 16. I'm so glad I can show up for her right now, its soo soo hard to live with active.

Lots of praying the last few days not that I don't always pray but I've been so not trusting God to provide and wanting to self will the job thing, the meetings, the frozen pipes, the finances. Today's God Calling was just so so simple but so meaningful and heart reachable.
