totally Tuesday
Well, they recovered the 7 million gallons lost with the water leak and the town has water once again. We no longer have to conserve or boil. Today tho we are without water here in the townhouse and I believe its frozen pipes. Oh I pray nothing bursts or ruins things. It was 10 below this morning without windchill factored in.
We are staying in Catawba now on the rail trail but I come here to work but looks like I may stay in Catawba the next few days without internet service but there is water. Love being there right on the trail altho the weather hasn't been cooperating for me to walk there these last days. We have been bundling up and I did walk the dog for the first time in over a year. I love my friends but I wish they'd stay in FL uhhh until at least. They have more channels on the tv for me to be mesmirized too but tonite I'm definitely finishing Helena's birthday card, the valentine's I made and get some Moravian sugar cakes made for Nik cause he loves 'em and he is still young and can eat them. Oh yeah, carrying laundry back to Catawba as well.
I was about to go looking for a waitress job to make some more $. I love waitrssing I really do, its so fun and I like to be on my feet. But I got a call this morning for an interview for a position that pays 11K more than this job I'm doing now. I do love this job and I'm good at it but I need to make more $ than I am now if I want to travel to Allentown once a month or go to NC in June when my Aunt Clara will be there or to Jesse's wedding in RI in July---I'll be there KC!
Altho the interview is for a different org, it uses the same skills I employ now, mostly recruiting so I'll wait for the interview before filling out waitressing apps.
Time to work, pack up and then hit the senior center for an exercise class---for us baby boomers, oh yeah nice and easy now one two rest three four rest rest ha!

oooooohhhhh Baby...lotsa good luck on the interview. Is it still a work from home gig?
I got some pretty exciting news from Jess....no...not the "P" word...lol. He went out to the State College area the beginning of January to train the new site clerk there. Last week he got a call from his bosses boss to see if he'd entertain the notion of moving out there and being the site manager. All things being what they are right now...the timing couldn't suck more AND Renee would lose her mind out there. There is NOTHING. I mean NOTHING. You think WV is depressed...OMG, you ain't seen nutttin! Jess said there are more boarded up stores than anything else in the one horse town and real estate is waaaayyyyyy cheaper there. Most houses I saw were in the 70's with 1/2 acre land. SOOOOO...what Jess is going to do is turn it down gracefully and ask that his name be thrown in the hat for when they reopen the Northampton, PA site, which may be some time this year.
Can you color me extremely hopeful???? How groovey would that be for all of us to move back to the LV????
exactly 5 months today til the wedding.
LOVE YOU!!!
