another song to tune of going to the chapel

Going to the rail trail to live the month of Feb ru ary
Goin to the rail trail to live the month of Feb ru ary
Goin to the rail trail to live the month of Feb ru ary
Goin to the rail trail of love!

How fun!
We have friends who live on the trail---KC you met Linda and Mickey at the anniversary party-and they are having us stay in their house while they are in FL. I'm trying to convince them of course that they may want to stay in FL until at least April Heheheh

They were here tonite for dinner and SkipBo. It was nice to have nice relaxing company.

So I took the online test for my strengths and it so reflected me. First time in my life it seems that I have this kind of confidence. That I can see it in print and say yeah thats me. Oh just got the idea to put it in the blog---but it might bore you-- its a very cool test and then it gives the top 5 strengths and professional action steps. Exciting stuff. I love that it mentioned first my connectedness ok maybe I'll see if I can cut & paste that part--it was top of the list.

Things happen for a reason. You are sure of it. You are sure of it because in your soul you know that we are all connected. Yes, we are individuals, responsible for our own judgments and in possession of our own free will, but nonetheless we are part of something larger. Some may call it the collective unconscious. Others may label it spirit or life force. But whatever your word of choice, you gain confidence from knowing that we are not isolated from one another or from the earth and the life on it. This feeling of Connectedness implies certain responsibilities. If we are all part of a larger picture, then we must not harm others because we will be harming ourselves. We must not exploit because we will be exploiting ourselves. Your awareness of these responsibilities creates your value system. You are considerate, caring, and accepting. Certain of the unity of humankind, you are a bridge builder for people of different cultures. Sensitive to the invisible hand, you can give others comfort that there is a purpose beyond our humdrum lives. The exact articles of your faith will depend on your upbringing and your culture, but your faith is strong. It sustains you and your close friends in the face of life's mysteries.

And I'm so pleased to be connected to you---
Enjoy your today.

Oh Pam, yes I need inspirational women in my life and so many of them have many years of sobriety like you. You are an inspration! I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around me being that for someone---an inspiration, hhhmmm nope, helpful, kind, caring, ok

Hey everyone, don't forget SoberChick in your prayers tonite. She works so hard at recovery and gives us all so much---

Wish you all could come for dinner and open AA meeting tomorrow night. Thank God I have soup frozen to thaw for dinner cause its gonna be a long day.

Oh how fun! I found 2 childrens books to talk about at my presentations---Chicken Little and The Little Red Hen. None of us can do this life on our own. Thanks for being here to help me.

Nervous about your prayer request for Sober Chick. Did something happen? Her blog doesn't indicate anything's amiss...?
