for who

So I was questioning why I write and for whom do I do this blogging. It started out some time ago. I believe I found blogging sometime before I went to LA after Katrina hit that infamous September. It became a way then to keep in touch with others since I couldn't possibly stay in touch with peole by phone, in person or sending individual emails.

I remember how surprised I was the first time I got a comment from a complete stranger. I didn't know how she found me I was so new to this blogging thing. So I read her blog, followed some of her links and found s whole world I did not here for to existed.

Then some fellow bloggers became important to me and some not so important. I wondered how I could read every one and make comments that might touch their hearts as they were touching mine.

It has been sweet, agonizing, uplifting, depressing, all the things I find with others in my so called real life---and now some of you have become so very real for me and I've not even met you in person. I cry for you, laugh at and with you, I fear for your life maybe and hope your recovery continues. I have been so very blessed with such silken yet strong threads, real bonds, real love, laughter, experience, hope and oh my God your strength. What would I do without you now?

And I don't have to do without you. So some come and stay some hit and run and all touch that part of my soul needing your touching, your caring touch. How often I find what I wasn't looking for here, but needed so much. Thank you.
