home on a Mondy evening
I'm on puter printing out our invites for a Boxing Day Open House. I think it will be fun. I always seemed to know there is a Boxing Day but I didn't know the tradition of it. Its an English or beyond kind of thing where the lords of the manor would hand out treats to the serfs.
What we are doing is having an open house and asking guests to bring a box of food that we can donate to the food pantry.
I love parties!
Today I am grateful for:
1 rain instead of snow
2 son answered his phone and we conversed--he's been doing more of that than he used to
3 bloggers who are friends even tho I've been away--you rock! and thank you
4 that you all will add Nik to your prayers that his wrist bone heals and he won't need surgery
5 this no caffeine thing I've been doing for almost 2 weeks is getting much easier
