Most days I check the obits from my home town.
Today I did and someone I knew intimately died at age 45. I don't know why he died. I do know he had a history with D&A--- I was his D&A counselor when he was 21. We kept in touch over the years. The last time I saw him was before I left town over 5 years ago. The weirdest part of this is I thought of him just a few days ago-- but he died on Sunday. I wonder if its true that the dead visit people before their spirit leaves the earth like the Indians believe?
