Wednesday's news

DM went back to work after a summer off-- somedays I sure wish I worked in the school system. Other days I am content to be exactly where I am today.

We had quite an adventure on Monday afternoon. First time I got wet on a bike ride. First thunder & lightening storm for him to get caught in. It was scarey to be so close to the river with lightening striking so close to us. I prayed serenity prayer over and over and knew that whatever happened I was in God's Hands. We ended up unharmed. But I never ever want that kind of adventure again. That was my drama for the week I hope.

I am not keeping up with tasks again. So once again I won't be visiting anyone in blogland. I am preparing for a visit to my hometown, leaving Friday. Back on Monday. Hoping to fit in seeing everyone but I know thats not possible. Hope to see KC, Roni's b-day is Fri, doing Laura's 10th Step with her, playing with Helena Sun and hugging Nik as much as I can. Baby party Sat evening and Sun nite Bithday meeting--giving Laura her cake and word Sun nite. Exhausted just thinking about it so I won't.

No call for 2nd interview. Got a request to interview for a DHHR job early Sept. I took a civil service test long long time ago, letter came yesterday. Not as much $ as I make now but lots more benefits. On it goes.
