The one sponsee who accompanies me to Fri & Sat meetings is out of town to give her father company on Father's Day. But have a sponsee coming down to work her 10th Step this weekend. I'm excited to have her company tonite and tomorrow. She'll attend my open AA meeting tonite and tomorrow's institution intro Alanon meeting with me. Did I say I'm excited to have her company?
I sure do appreciate the fellowship I've got. Its so good not to be alone in this disease or in the solutions. And to see the company I have instead of seeing myself as all alone. I can see too how in the past I isolated when I got black instead of reaching out.
Biked 10 miles last nite and DM says I kept a better pace than any other time. He is in such good shape. He does rides of 50 and 85 miles regularly and I realize now how patient he is with keeping back with me when we ride. I appreciate his patience and his company.

Great bike ride. I bet it is beautiful there.
You helped DM too last night on the bike ride. Think about that feeling we get when someone else is under our wing, we are teaching them and learning patience at the same time. All of it encompasses each other -- we need each other and the roles played by each are valuable.
