gestures of love
"I think of a gesture of love as anything we do that helps others discover their humanity. Any act where we turn to one another. Open our hearts. Extend ourselves. Listen. Anytime we're patient. Curious. Quiet. Engaged."
--Margaret J. Wheatley
Today I am grateful for:
Gestures of love received
More good hair days than bad
The fireplace ready for Thursday nite company and some mores! yum yum!
I don't have to be ok everyday to be loved
Sighting a bird on the bird bath
He knew why I was crying last night without my telling him.
This weeping will end, it will not last forever as I once feared.
I can talk, walk, work and more all while crying--its an amazing learned feat!
Today is a new day--to be filled with both joys and sorrow and I am here to experience it all

"Sighting a bird on the bird bath"
How precious. Many times God's creatures helps me thru times when I am in what I like to call "blah " mode. My cats and dog help me with this, they are my co-dependant angels. They don't seem to mind, at least this is my interpretation.
I am grateful for your honesty.
Crying is not necessarily bad. But it does wreak havoc with eye make up and our appearance.
My wife cryed last night and I knew why. I gave her the support she needed.
I remember a time when I was thankful that I couldn't cry. I remember a time when I was angry that I couldn't cry. Now I'm thankful that I can cry and not be ashamed.
Love ya...
Fantastic list!
